Doctor Bio

Dr. Colleen Allen grew up in Saline, Michigan and graduated from Saline High School in 2010. After high school, she attended the University of Michigan, and she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2013. Dr. Allen received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2018.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Allen practiced in Westland and Belleville, Michigan and then Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2021, She moved back to her hometown and opened Saline Dental Care.  Dr. Allen is married to her husband, Shawn, who also grew up in the Saline community. 

In 2024, Dr. Allen became a Diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She completed her additional training in dental sleep medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Allen is very passionate about helping patients with sleep apnea and trouble sleeping.

Dr. Allen is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Washtenaw District Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Allen strongly values patient education and preventative oral health care. She is a compassionate dentist that loves to form personal relationships with her patients. Dr. Allen’s goal is to make every dental visit a comforting and positive experience!
