Dr. Heiss attended Binghamton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in both Neuroscience and Spanish. (He is fluent!) Afterward, he went on to attend Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society and completing an Advanced Clinical Education program in orthodontics. Since then, he has continued his training with a very surgically oriented post-doctoral residency program spent serving an underserved population at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. There, he received further training in all aspects of dentistry, including veneers, dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, and root canals. Dr. Heiss gets excited about offering comprehensive dental care and building relationships with his patients.
Always excellent care at Long Island Dental Excellence. The dentists, Victoria the dental hygienist & the entire staff are superb. They are all knowledgeable & the aim is to make the patient better & comfortable throughout the treatment. This practice has the most advanced equipment I have seen & the office waiting room has a very calming tone especially for people who become anxious while waiting. An excellent dental practice!!
