Dr. Max Buchwald Jr. earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Buchwald was born and raised in Plano, Texas, having graduated from Plano West Senior High School before attending Oklahoma University for his Bachelors of Science in Microbiology. He has taught at UTHSCSA the past two years while concurrently enrolled as a student. He has specialized training in Invisalign, molar endodontics, and implantology. In his free time, Dr. Max Buchwald Jr. enjoys volunteering at local homeless shelters, the Christian Dental Clinic, the refugee health clinic, and mission work across the world, as well as staying active in triathlons.
