Dr. Heiss attended Binghamton University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in both Neuroscience and Spanish. (He is fluent!) Afterward, he went on to attend Touro College of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society and completing an Advanced Clinical Education program in orthodontics. Since then, he has continued his training with a very surgically oriented post-doctoral residency program spent serving an underserved population at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. There, he received further training in all aspects of dentistry, including veneers, dental implants, extraction of wisdom teeth, and root canals.
Had an amazing experience at Dr Heiss’ office! This started from before even stepping foot in the office, with the patient coordinator Tammy whom kindly reached out to me a few days before my appointment to confirm my information & insurance. Tammy took the extra step to assure me that Dr Heiss was in-network and that I should have zero extra charges. The dental assistance Stephanie was super nice and welcoming, made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the exam room. Dr Heiss has amazing bed-side manners, and was sure to explain everything that was being done. I am happy to say I had an amazing first experience, and will be recommending Dr Heiss and his staff to my friends and family!! 10 out of 10 experience
Dr. Heiss is amazing! From the moment you step into his office, you can clearly tell that Dr. Heiss genuinely cares about his patients and wants the absolute best for them. He’s not only highly skilled and friendly but also takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. His team, Tammy and Steph, are also just as fantastic! They are both super kind, professional, and very efficient. The office is warm, welcoming, and spotless, with the latest tech that makes the experience even better. Hands down, this was the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had, and I’ll definitely be coming back to Pearly Whites Dental Studio in the future. I can’t recommend Dr. Heiss enough!
