Dr. Nelson embodies the spirit of hospitality and a passion for science and medicine. Dedicated to serving his community through dentistry, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He has been practicing since 2018, providing comprehensive care to his patients. Dr. Nelson pursued specialized training in Periodontics, Periodontal Plastic Surgery, and Implantology, earning a Certificate in Periodontics and a Masters of Dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Department of Periodontics. During his residency, he continued to serve the Houston metro area as a general dentist, applying his advanced knowledge and skills to deliver the highest quality treatment. Committed to the dental community, Dr. Nelson has held leadership positions in multiple organizations, including the Student National Dental Association (both national and local) and the Hispanic Dental Association. He is a current member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontics.
I had an amazing experience at URBN Dental! I had a dental emergency on a Saturday and they were able to see me the same day. They offered sedation dentistry which was great for me because I get super anxious at the dentist. They also accept all major PPO dental insurance, which made things very convenient.
