Singla Dental is the best! Even during the pandemic that continues to rage, the service is excellent. Even though there are a lot of new faces, they are all so nice, friendly and professional and you feel right at home. My experience the other day was awesome. I felt as though we were not still in the pandemic. I felt safe and secure and one of the techs kept checking on me while waiting for the dental hygienist to finish us. I always feel like #1 there. Thanks, to all of you.

Great experience. Dr Singla is very gentle with his patients. He compared previous X-rays with current and explained everything in detail. He is very thorough and I’d unhesitatingly recommend him to anyone!

Emergency Dental Services Available

Dental emergencies can occur for several reasons. In many instances, they are due to decay or caused by an unexpected accident. Whatever the cause of your dental crisis, our team of professionals will be able to provide the care you need. Our services include treatment for the following issues:

  • Toothaches. A toothache often starts as a minor inconvenience. Most patients will experience them when there is a change in pressure or temperature, usually when you are eating or drinking. Over-the-counter treatment may cause temporary relief, but it is not a permanent solution. A toothache is often a symptom of a larger dental concern that needs to be professionally assessed.
  • Gum pain. Your gums play an important role in your dental health. It is important to make a dental appointment with Dr. Singla as soon as possible so we can properly assess the issue. In many instances, gum pain is a warning sign of a concern that is deep in the tissue of the gums.
  • Filling or crown loss. A filling or crown can become loose or fall out completely. The cause could be a fault of the filling or crown itself, or it could be caused by additional decay that impacted the fit. It is important to have these replaced as soon as possible to prevent any further decay.
  • Jaw swelling. Your jawbone helps to support your overall dental structure. In some dental emergencies, the jaw becomes swollen, usually due to some type of infection. This can spread along your bone and supporting tissue. It is important to have the cause of infection diagnosed to provide permanent relief.
  • Root canal. This service is commonly performed on a tooth that is decayed or damaged. This tooth may have already required repeat fillings or crowns. A root canal helps to prevent the need to have a tooth extracted.
  • Extractions. If a tooth becomes severely decayed or damaged, the best option for treatment could be to remove the tooth completely. This is often the case when an infection is present and poses a risk to the surrounding healthier teeth. An extraction can help relieve any pain associated with the problem tooth.
  • Avulsed tooth. also known as a knockout, this is when a tooth is completely dislodged from the mouth. This is often caused by some sort of accident, especially for those involved in contact sports. It is important to schedule an appointment with Dr. Singla as soon as possible if this happens. Aside from the tooth, the socket should be examined for any additional damage. Other common teeth injuries include chips, breaks, and cracks. These situations are unique and the best treatment options will vary.

Avoiding Dental Emergencies

No one wants to have to experience a dental emergency. They can be both stressful and painful. While not every dental emergency is avoidable, many can be avoided with proper oral hygiene. Damage caused by decay contributes to many of our emergency appointments. Regular brushing and flossing at home can help prevent decay.

You should also schedule six-month appointments with Dr. Singla. This allows us to provide a proper cleaning as well as develop a clear record of your dental health. Spotting any issues early helps us provide the treatment you need before the condition can become severe enough to require the need for an emergency appointment.
